Where the name comes from
Tima grew out of our founder Fatma’s name: the four letters inside Fatıma. In Greek, τίμα means “honour, value”. We take on both meanings.

Tima is a software studio in Istanbul. We take on few projects so that we can give time to the ones we take.
What the flower says
The flower in our logo is a penç: the name for the flower motif drawn from above in Turkish tile and illumination art, from the Persian word for “five”. Its five petals also count the five steps we take to finish a job.

Software engineer. Graduate of Bahçeşehir University, Software Engineering. Runs web projects end to end, from design to launch, and builds AI assistants that answer from documents.
